The teaching model described in July 2026 combines asynchronous work on Moodle with online classes on Zoom approximately once a month, generally on Saturdays. Moodle is available around the clock, so a tandem can fit between those sessions: perhaps 30 minutes of weekly conversation, a short written exchange or a presentation rehearsal.

The institution is not entirely place-free. As of July 2026, its research campus is in Brig, and UniDistance Suisse also lists offices in Brig, Pfäffikon SZ and Siders. The multilingual setting is especially tangible in the Master of Arts in Historical Sciences.
