I'm a master's student at ETH Zürich. I study quantum transport simulations. I grew up in Toronto, Canada speaking Mandarin with my parents and going through 7 years of French classes in public school. I speak English fluently, Mandarian is my heritage langauge, I'm learning German (A2/B1), and would like to practice my French (B2??).

My mother tongue is Chinese Mandarin, also speaks English and a little Italian and German. I would like to practice German, it is very beginning level, I got lessons to A2 two years ago but almost gave it back to teacher : ). In the meanwhile, I also expect to fine-tune my English because it is my main working language.

I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Hong Kong. Before moving to Switzerland Oct 2025, I’ve lived in Japan for 5 years. Both Mandarin and Cantonese are my native tongues, and I’m more than happy to teach them while learning and practicing German with you.

I'm from Taiwan but am currently living in Zürich (weil ich mit einem Schweizer verheiratet bin 🙂). I've also lived in the US extensively so I can also help you practice English.
