I'm Gina Celaya from Mexico City. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Bern at the Institute of Art History. I recently moved to Bern and I want and I need urgently to learn German. I speak chilango Spanish (Spanish from CDMX) but I also can speak/understand Spanish from Chile, Colombia, and Argentina. I will be glad to help you understand the jokes and cultural specificities of the Spanish language. I also want to teach you the thing that a too formal school will never teach you. I am looking for structured lessons but informal conversations are OK too. I would like somebody who takes the time to prepare a class (a simple one) and in exchange, I am going to do the same. When I finished my B.A. I worked as an English teacher so I have learned some techniques to teach. I consider myself, friendly, fun, and respectful I will be glad if I can meet people to exchange our language knowledge. My English level is C1, My French is B2 and Spanish is my mother tongue. I leave in Switzerland since 5 year and I am looking to improve my high German . I am currently taking classes for B1.1 level. I love to hike, paint and cook at my spare time, also going to gym and do other sports. Hope to find a nice person to exchange language skills once or twice a week. I just started a 6-year phd program in Zurich, which motivates me highly to learn German. My current level is extremely low, but I understand basic conversation. I would be happy to try tandem learning, maybe taking language classes in parallel.
